What is the difference between a low pitch sound with only 1 or 2 LEDs illuminated and a high pitch sound with all 4 LEDs illuminated?
If the damp detector shows 1 or 2 LEDs and emits a low pitch sound then a minimal amount of damp is detected, however, if the detector emits a high pitch sound and all 4 LEDs light up then a large amount of damp has been detected.
Do I need to clean the probes?
Yes, always clean the probes once detection is complete otherwise it may affect the result the next time it is used.
