This top of the range BRICK PLUG is easily identifiable by its distinctive orange colour; it is of the highest quality, being manufactured from glass filled polyamide to provide a high strength, corrosion resistant fixing.

It is used in damp proofing applications to secure cavity drain membranes to a base material, usually brickwork, stone or concrete. However, if you are using mesh damp proof membrane our Plaster Plug may be a more suitable option, as it allows direct applicatipon of various plaster or plasterboard.

In addition to being top quality the BRICK PLUGS are also very easy to use; to apply simply drill a 10mm diameter hole through the membrane into the solid base material and then hammer the BRICK PLUG in. Simple as that!

As well as having a reinforced head for ease of use this plug also has a central hole which can take a size 10 woodscrew so that they can also secure timber battens for internal lining systems.

To ensure that your BRICK PLUG is fully effective you will need to, before use, either wrap a bead of rope around the back of the head of the plug or pat a SkilledBuild Brick Plug Seal onto the plug, as this will create a compression seal when the plug is fixed.
