SKILLEDBUILD CREOCOTE has been created as a substitute for the no longer available Creosote. It has been developed so that it still retains many of the original protective properties that Creosote was famous for, but it is far more user friendly and less damaging to your health and the environment.
CREOCOTE is a non-biocidal, oil based wood treatment which protects and preserves a variety of exterior timbers, such as garden sheds. The oil based properties provide excellent surface water repellence and restricts weather damage. In addition, it advantageously enhances timber's appearance by imparting a rich colour into the structure.

Shelf Life: Use within 12 months.

Ensure all timbers are structurally sound, thoroughly clean and dry and then apply.

Is it safe to use this product near plants?
Care should be taken to protect valuable plants and foliage during application.
Will timbers previously treated with Creosote accept re-treatment with this product?
Yes, timbers previously treated with Creosote, Creosote Substitute or a solvent based wood preservative will readily accept re-treatment with Creocote.
Will the product work on painted or sealed timbers?
Sealed or painted timbers must be stripped back to bare wood before coating with this product.
Are the shades of different containers of Creocote always the same?
No, the shade may vary from batch to batch and it is, therefore, recommended that containers with the same batch number are selected to ensure shade uniformity. Alternatively, premix different batches.
