COB PLUGS
If you need to secure a damp proof membrane or a lining board to poor quality base material then use our COB PLUGS.
Brickwork and blockwork can become soft and unsuitable for standard friction fit fasteners, however, COB PLUGS have been specially designed to secure fixings to poor quality materials, as well as a very wide range of other base materials. They have an expanding stem which when the supplied pin is driven down the middle expands and grips into the substrate to provide exceptional anchorage.
SKILLEDBUILD COB PLUGS also have a textured head surface and large through holes which provide superior bonding for adhesives and renders.
Size: Available in both 60mm and 90mm lengths.
- Drill a 10mm hole.
- Place the COB PLUG into the hole.
- Hit the central nail into the plug to cause it to expand into the substrate and create a secure fixing.
