WATERPROOF FLOOR MEMBRANE
Waterproof Floor Membrane 20mm Cavity Drain Channels for waterproofing basement and cellar floors
Waterproof Floor Membrane
SkilledBuild’s Waterproof Floor Membrane is a high performance cavity drainage membrane manufactured from high density polyethylene (HDPE) used to waterproof basement and cellar floors. The Waterproof Floor Membrane comes in rolls of 2.0m x 20m (40m2).
The Waterproof Floor Membrane is suited to properties where there are damp/wet basement/cellar floors, the quality and integrity of the existing floor slab is in question or where it is possible that water may pass through cracks in a poorly constructed floor.
How does it work?
The Waterproof Floor Membrane has 20mm studs that provide an air gap (drain cavity) between the membrane and the wall/floor, which allows any free water to run behind it. This product provides a high cavity drain capacity.
Installation:
The Waterproof Floor Membrane can be rolled out, studs to the floor, and cut to fit the room. No mechanical fixings are required. Joints, and wall/floor junctions should be sealed with Waterproofing Tape or Waterproofing Corner Tape.
Installation results in little or no damage to the existing structure.
Please see our Product Data Sheet for installation guidance.
Areas of Use:
Waterproofing below ground level.
Storage:
The Waterproof Floor Membrane should be stored in dry conditions, avoiding sharp objects, direct sunlight and high temperatures.
