My helmet has incurred a fairly severe impact but it does not appear damaged, what should I do?

The helmet is made to absorb the energy of impact by partial destruction or damage to the shell or harness. Even though such damage may not be readily apparent any helmet subjected to severe impact should be replaced.

Can I modify my Safety Helmet?

No, never modify or remove any of the original component parts of the helmet as this can be very dangerous. In addition, please do not apply paint, solvent, adhesives or self-adhesive labels; as this can also adversely affect the capability of this product.

How can I clean my helmet?

It is always a good idea to keep this item in excellent condition. To clean, simply use soap and warm water and dry with a soft cloth. Do NOT clean with any abrasive substances or solvents.

How should I best store my Safety Helmet?

When not in use or during transportation, the helmet should be kept in a container. It is best to store this container out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals and abrasive substances and where it cannot be damaged by contact with hard surfaces.
