HYDROBLOC+ FILLET SEAL

HydroBloc+ Fillet Seal is a cementitious fillet seal. This product forms Part 3 of SkilledBuild's HydroBloc+ Tanking System. HydroBloc+ Fillet Seal should be used with HydroBloc+ Tanking Slurry to form a complete waterproof tanking system.

Hydrobloc+ Fillet Seal is a rapid and non-shrink hydraulic setting powder which should be trowel applied to waterproof probable weak points which have stress potential (i.e. through high vibration or movement), such as a floor and wall junction or corners, to ensure that these sealing problems are tackled. Ideally, it should be incorporated in all floor and wall joints (both horizontal and vertical) to ensure an effective seal is created and to give a permanent flexible joint.

This tanking slurry product can also be used for filling small holes and cracks.

Installation:

HydroBloc+ Fillet Seal is best applied after the first coat of HydroBloc+ Tanking Slurry has been applied. The Fillet Seal must be applied on a damp surface to maximise its effectivness and ideally when the Tanking Slurry is still 'tacky'. The recommended application is by trowel.

Size: 25kg plastic tubs.

Usage: 1kg of fillet seal will cover approximately 1 metre run of 25mm fillet.

Limitations: Do not use when temperatures are below 5^oC.

Shelf Life: 12 months in good, dry, frost free conditions.

Applicator: Trowel.

Apply across all vertical and horizontal joints after the first coat of tanking slurry, apply as a fillet of 25mm, smooth with a trowel before applying a second coat of tanking thus sandwiching the fillet in.
It should be applied before the first coat of Tanking Slurry has cured. This will generally be around 1 hour after application of HydroBloc+ Tanking Slurry.
Care should be taken not to damage the underlying coating.
Allow the fillet seal to stiffen for 2-3 hours and then apply the second coat of HydroBloc+ Tanking Slurry to the substrate and over the Fillet Seal.
HydroBloc+ Fillet Seal can also be used for filling small holes in masonry, walls and floors.
